Jan 27, 2025

On Tuesday, January 21, the DiMark project held a PP meeting online, with over 50 attendees, including observers from various countries and institutions.

The meeting focused on reviewing progress in collecting data from selected alpine lakes, with records dating back to 2015, and planning for the next stages of the project. Discussions covered upcoming data collection efforts, workshops, financial reporting, and overall project management.

The data gathered so far:
– Data on water temperature, turbidity, Secchi depth, data on the composition of the phytoplankton community, chlorophyll-a concentration, meteorological data… 🔬

– Molecular data on environmental DNA. 🧬

– Data obtained with the help of satellites. đź›°

This work will support the development of tools and models to improve the understanding and management of alpine lakes.
