Waterwise project partner – Réserves Naturelles de Frances

Feb 5, 2025

Réserves Naturelles de France (RNF) is the professional network of the nature reserve managers in France. RNF has a 40-year-plus history of facilitation and capacity-building around Protected Area management and can rely on strong bonds with on-the-field Nature Reserve managers to test and promote pragmatic nature-based solutions. It has expertise in wetland conservation, and it addresses climate change adaptation in protected areas based on hands-on tools developed in pilot areas.

Within Waterwise, RNF will be responsible for the aspects related to biodiversity and ecosystem conservation in the project and will coordinate the mobilisation of Nature Reserves being especially involved in engaging and facilitating discussions. RNF will also contribute to testing and communicating sustainable and resilient headwaters management scenarios.
