In May 2025, the local Info Day on the EU project Bauhalps (Building Circular in the Alpine Space) took place in Chemnitz as part of the spring conference of the German Cultural and Creative Industries Support Network. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the project, promote exchange, and create links to similar projects.
The project was specifically introduced to the network’s “Sustainability” working group, which provided a useful platform for topic-specific understanding and in-depth discussion at the national level. Representatives from over 40 public funding institutions from all over Germany come together at the spring conference.
As part of a Europe-wide communication strategy with events in nine countries, the Info Day opens up a European perspective and provides valuable insights that will feed into the further development of a sustainable and future-proof model for building transformation. The cultural and creative industries act as an important force for inspiration and change.
