Tétraktys (TK) is a French NGO based in Grenoble, the capital of the French Alps, specialized in local development. Founded in 1994, it focuses on sharing Alpine expertise at an international level in the fields of heritage preservation and promotion, sustainable tourism, and shared governance. Its actions always aim to improve the living conditions of rural and mountain communities worldwide.
Within Waterwise, TK will steer territorial stakeholder dialogue on landscape conservation, tourism development and the collective imagination around mountains and climate change. Tétraktys will build on its experience in heritage mediation tools to co-create an innovative storytelling to ‘imagine the Alps of tomorrow’, based on fiction design around water-related issues. These tools will effectively illustrate the impact of climate change and human use on headwaters landscapes and explore sustainable solutions for the future of mountain communities.
