As part of the Interreg MARGIN research project, Martin Pellegrini, Head of Water Operations at LINZ AG – LINZ SERVICE GmbH, will present the city’s pioneering approach to sustainable groundwater management at the Oberösterreichischer Umweltkongress 2025.
Taking place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, the congress focuses on air and water as shared resources. Pellegrini’s presentation will be featured in afternoon Session 3 – “Air & Water for All: Protecting and Securing Our Life Essentials”, highlighting Linz as the project’s pilot city.
Attendees will learn how LINZ AG is combining innovation, science, and urban planning to secure vital water resources for future generations. The session promises insights into practical solutions for cities worldwide looking to manage their groundwater sustainably.
The congress runs from 09:00 to 17:00 at Ursulinenhof, Linz, with options to attend on-site or via livestream for the morning sessions. Participation is free.
