We’re excited to announce the release of a new publication presenting a package of seven climate support services designed to help municipalities across the Alpine region strengthen their resilience to the growing impacts of climate change.
Developed within the ADAPTNOW initiative, prepared by the partner Energy Institute Vorarlberg (EIV) from Austria, this package supports local authorities and sectoral agencies in scaling up climate adaptation and risk mitigation. It brings together tested services, practical examples, real experiences, and tailored recommendations for territories that are highly affected and exposed to climate-related hazards.
Available also in English, German, French, Italian, and Slovenian, it offers guidance on:
✅ Expanding local climate services to boost resilience;
✅ Tackling uncertainty and volatility linked to extreme events;
✅ Advancing integrated climate and energy planning with nature-based solutions;
✅ Bridging knowledge gaps and empowering communities to act.
