Our project is closing with a special event in Lyon, dedicated to exploring the future of sustainable textiles in the Alpine region.

While we are still working on finalizing all details, the program already features two roundtables:

🔸 Roundtable 1 : Local production, alpine wool, hemp, linen & natural dyeing: how can we develop viable economic models and move from the artisanal scale to the industrial scale?

🔸 Roundtable 2: Craftsmanship/industry and tourism: a win-win partnership that could help the Alpine region in its ecological and economic transition?

Alongside the debates, we will present the full AlpTextyles Living Exhibition with a new banner with results from our pilots and the new Safeguarding Toolkits for heritage communities and Orientation Guide for SMEs — and, of course, the many everyday objects and fashion items made with our cross-border fabric and natural dyes.

More details coming soon!
