As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences hosts a workshop on 21.11.2024 with two leading voices in circular economy. Under the title “Circular WEconomy – Impulses from Practice and Research in the Food and Textile Sector,” the event emphasizes the importance of collaboration in creating circular systems for businesses and daily life.

Diana Reuter (rundumblick e.U., Woerle GmbH) shares insights into the food value chain—from raw material sourcing to packaging and distribution. Nadine Schratzberger (MONTREET) brings a start-up perspective from the textile sector, highlighting the hurdles of sustainable production in Europe.

Research on circular systems continues at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and Paris Lodron University through EU-supported projects CEFoodCycle, FOODIS, and TEX-DAN.
