Description
Interested in Circular Innovation?

The session will spotlight two outstanding examples of circular economy innovation: Biova Project, which creatively repurposes unsold bread into craft beer now distributed across multiple countries, and Poliphenolia, a forward-thinking startup that transforms wine industry waste into high-value products such as natural cosmetics and dental tools. These two case studies showcase how waste can be reimagined as a resource — with impact that spans both environmental sustainability and market innovation.

The one-hour workshop will begin with a short introduction to the CEFoodCycle initiative, setting the stage for the project presentations. More than just a showcase, this session aims to create space for dialogue, idea-sharing, and collaboration — a valuable moment to connect with others working at the intersection of sustainability, circularity, and enterprise.

The event is scheduled for May 23rd and is part of the "INTERACTIVE SHOWCASE" session of the Sustainability EXPO in Alba. This innovative event goes beyond the traditional trade fair model by creating an interactive showcase that enhances networking opportunities and fosters partnerships.
