Description
On  29 and 30 of October, the Consortium of Diverse will meet in person, to officially launch the project.

DIVERSE is a collaborative initiative addressing the challenges of bioenergy production and biodiversity conservation in the Alpine Space. The project aims to explore sustainable bioenergy pathways, utilizing biomass from waste and residues to support flexible renewable energy systems. By working with regional authorities and energy actors, DIVERSE aligns bioenergy strategies with the EU's Renewable Energy Directive (REDIII) while integrating biodiversity conservation into regional policies. Through transnational cooperation and an open dialogue approach, DIVERSE seeks to establish sustainable bioenergy value chains that contribute to a low-carbon energy mix and energy sufficiency in the Alps, ensuring a nature-positive future.

The consortium:

(AT), Landshut University of Applied Sciences (DE), Italian-German Chamber of Commerce (DE), Local Energy Agency – LEA GmbH (AT) e University of Graz (AT).
