Description
On 6th August, the student research group of Prof. Andrea Stübner, professor for Forest economics and operational planning at the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, will present the findings of their research week dedicated to assessing the value of individual trees and forests in Nantesbuch.

After the presentation of the group's research methods, criteria and results, participants will be invited to join the discussion too:
  • How do other alpine / European countries valuate their forests? Is there something we can learn from each other?
  • Do recent developments, such as the increase in heat stress and calamities change the way we valuate forest?
  • Does a perspective including living soils change the criteria and methods used?

The event will take place in English and can be attended without previous registration.
The meeting room will open 15 minutes before the presentation and can be accessed by clicking here.

We are looking forward to diving into this fascinating topic with you!
