Classic projects current call
Classic projects have been in place for several years already and offer a result oriented approach, helping to identify the expected contribution of projects in a defined policy field. Their selection follows a two-step application procedure.
The terms of reference for the third call for classic project proposals are now available. Submissions have opened on JEMS on 13 May 2025.
Deadline: 10 July 2025 at 13:00
Classic projects characteristics
Total budget: €1m to €3m
Duration: 24 to 36 months
Partnership: 7 to 12 partners
Transnationality: at least 4 countries
Restricted invitation: Support EUSALP
This invitation is restricted to the consortium of the successor of the Support EUSALP project whose purpose is to facilitate and support the implementation of EUSALP.
The terms of reference are now available. Submissions will be possible from mid-June onwards on JEMS.
Deadline: 15 September 2025
Main features
Start on 1 January 2026 and last between 36 to 42 months
Bring together a minimum of 7 partners from at least 4 countries
Take stock of the results of the predecessor project
Small-scale projects current call
Small-scale projects are shorter and involve less partners compared to classic projects. It allows the beneficiaries to address innovative subjects from a thematic and/or territorial perspective. Their selection follows a one-step application procedure.
There’s currently no call for small-scale projects. Discover the projects approved in November 2024 here.
Small-scale projects characteristics
Total budget: €250k to €750k
Duration: 12 to 24 months
Partnership: 4 to 7 partners
Transnationality: at least 3 countries
Calls calendar
- Project proposals can be submitted as of publication of the terms of reference until a pre-defined deadline.
- Calls are open generally for about two months.
- Applications have to be submitted via the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems).

Jems
The Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) is a tool for project applicants and project partners to create and submit application forms. It also allows the programme bodies to monitor the implementation of the projects as well as of the programme itself. It should be noted that Jems is not a management tool for project partners.
