DiMark participated in the “Discovering Hidden Treasures” workshop in Lienz, Austria (Digital Alps Conference). Our partner from EAWAG presented the Alplakes online visualization platform which enables comparison of Alpine lake conditions using satellite observations and key freshwater indicators. The same platform will support future tools from the DiMark project. You can already explore DiMark key lakes – and additional Alpine lakes – on Alplakes.
🔹 Interreg Alpine Space 25th AnniversaryÂ
🗓️ May 12–14, 2025 | Salzburg, Austria
A DiMark representative from NIB attended the celebration in Salzburg. During one of the breakout session “Leveraging AI to protect and preserve the Alpine ecosystem,” DiMark was featured for its visualization tools and predictive modelling; designed to help stakeholders manage cyanobacterial bloom risks in Alpine water bodies.
🔹 Stakeholder Workshops
🗓️ May 23–27, 2025 | Online
On May 23, we hosted an international online workshop with 54 participants from six countries, where we presented DiMark’s goals and gathered valuable feedback. Following this, each DiMark project partner organized a live, national-level workshop in their respective countries, bringing together local stakeholders to help shape DiMark tools tailored to national needs. At the end of each workshop, participants provided feedback through questionnaires to support further development of the visualisation tool and cyano risk prevention model.
