The HACK IT NET project is spearheading transformative advancements in health and care across the Alpine Space through a cutting-edge Toolkit Portfolio. This portfolio integrates three innovative approaches that address key regional healthcare challenges, promoting sustainability, digital transformation, and policy development.
- STEMLabs for Health and Care Innovation: the STEMLabs approach introduces experimental spaces in key healthcare hubs to evaluate and refine advanced technologies, including digital tools and sustainable practices. By engaging regional stakeholders, these labs aim to improve care accessibility in remote areas, enhance hospitals’ digital infrastructure, and adapt healthcare systems to climate change. Feedback from the labs will shape policy recommendations and operational models.
- TechCAREavan: Greening and Digitizing Hospitals: the TechCAREavan approach takes healthcare solutions on the road, delivering cutting-edge technologies and training modules directly to hospitals. By targeting a mix of urban and rural facilities, the initiative supports digital transformation and sustainable practices, including energy optimization and green technologies. This approach aligns with the EU’s Green Deal objectives, creating replicable models for sustainable hospital management.
- Practice2Policy Labs: this approach focuses on translating practical healthcare insights into actionable policies. It engages policymakers, healthcare administrators, and experts across the AS, using findings from the STEMLabs and TechCAREavan initiatives to draft policies supporting cross-border cooperation and sustainable innovation. By fostering stakeholder dialogue, the Practice2Policy Labs ensure that the outputs of HACK IT NET are integrated into strategic planning, guaranteeing long-term impact.
Through this innovative Toolkit Portfolio, the HACK IT NET project is driving collaboration and change to create a more efficient, sustainable, and inclusive healthcare system across the Alpine region.
