Naja Marot, GOVQoL project coordinator, participated in the International Mountain Conference held in Innsbruck in September 2025 with the presentation “TOWARDS BETTER GOVERNANCE OF QUALITY OF LIFE ON THE LOCAL LEVEL” submitted within the session “Transformative changes towards Living Well”. The section gathered researchers, stakeholders and academics from various professional fields, all engaged with the topic of quality of life, however, focusing on different aspects.
GOVQoL offered a perspective on the governance of quality of life on the local level, what stakeholders are engaged in this activity and how well does it work. The presentation was also a good opportunity to disseminate the position paper. Besides the conference presentation, the project coordinator also took part in the workshop, organised within the Austrian/Liechtenstein Presidency of EUSALP, that offered ground for discussions about future territorial development of the Alps.
