Highlights from the X-RISK-CC project partner meeting in Lyon

On the 26th and 27th March, the third partner meeting of the X-RISK-CC project took place in Lyon.

During the meeting the results about past and future changes of extreme weather events in the pilot areas and Alpine Space were presented and all ongoing activities related to the hazard modelling and risk management on a local and Alpine level were discussed. The project partners elaborated the next steps towards the a common risk assessment methodology and the definition of actions and guidelines to help risk managers of Alpine regions in dealing with future challenges under climate change.
