I-SWAMP at the Lent Festival in Maribor (Slovenia)!

The Slovenian partner of the I-SWAMP took part in the famous Lent Festival in Maribor (Slovenia), where they presented the project activities to the public, and talked about wetland conservation. The IRSNC had a booth with photos and information material, and organized moments of play and drawing dedicated to the little ones: the children were invited to paint with brusher obtained from natural materials, such as spruce branches, ferns and moss!

Dissemination is a very important moment of European projects, it is in fact important that citizens can understand the positive impact of funded conservation projects.

This can also favor the improvement of relations between science and the public, strengthening a relationship of trust that sometimes seems to waver.
