Presenting the Vision: Micro-Neighbourhood Info Day

The BAUHALPS partner Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences organised ob 14 of March 2026 an Info Day in Dickenreishausen to present the Micro-Neighbourhood pilot, introduce the BAUHALPS project and the principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), and engage participants in an open discussion.

The event aimed to raise awareness of the urgent need for sustainable construction, highlighting that the German building sector is responsible for around 40% of CO₂ emissions and 92% of mineral resource consumption. Discussions also addressed the European Green Deal, the goals of achieving a climate-neutral building stock by 2050 in Europe and by 2045 in Germany, as well as new funding opportunities supporting sustainable construction, building renovation and the energy transition.
