Some BAUHALPS partners meet in Munich to advance toolkit development and project coordination

Apr 23, 2026

On 14–15 April 2026, CIRIDD participated in a two-day BAUHALPS workshop hosted by Bayern Innovativ GmbH in Munich, bringing together key project partners including Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences and Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia.

The workshop focused on advancing the development of the BAUHALPS toolkit and preparing the coordination of the project’s upcoming work phases. Discussions on the first day centred on defining data collection needs and methodologies for the toolkit, including identifying relevant data types, stakeholders involved, and approaches to analysis.

Participants worked collaboratively to outline a research design and draft questionnaire that will support the assessment of circularity performance across pilot sites in the Alpine region.

The second day shifted towards refining the toolkit’s usability and accessibility, as well as exploring its future online implementation. In parallel, partners developed the BAUHALPS value proposition, reflecting on its alignment with the New European Bauhaus initiative and its added value for stakeholders across the construction ecosystem.

This workshop marks an important step in translating BAUHALPS concepts into practical tools and frameworks. It also lays the groundwork for the upcoming coordination of Work Package 3, which will be led by CIRIDD starting in September 2026.

By strengthening collaboration among partners and aligning on concrete outputs, the Munich meeting contributes to the project’s broader ambition: supporting the transition towards circular, resource-efficient, and sustainable building practices across the Alpine region.
