Stakeholder Meeting at Zugspitze: Stakeholder dialogue on extreme weather risk management in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

For the pilot region Garmisch-Partenkirchen, TUM organized a stakeholder meeting at the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus on the Zugspitze on November 28, 2023. The main objectives of the meeting were to exchange with local and regional stakeholders to gain a better understanding of the current risk management approaches for extreme weather events in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen region. Representatives of the Bavarian Environment Agency, the Water Agency Weilheim, the Civil Protection of the District Administration, the Mountain Rescue of Bavaria and the director of the Partnachklamm participated in the workshop.
