Treasure Hunt Explores Salzburg’s Architectural Heritage

Our partner Innovation Salzburg recently organized an engaging Treasure Hunt event, inviting participants to explore the building ecosystem in northern Salzburg’s rural areas. The activity provided insights into both historical and modern construction methods, highlighting the region’s architectural evolution.

The journey began at the 464-year-old Rauchhaus Mühlgrub, a remarkable example of traditional wooden construction. Participants then compared this centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary building techniques, gaining a deeper understanding of Flachgau’s architectural heritage.

This unique event combined education and adventure, offering a fresh perspective on Salzburg’s built environment.
