From May 12–14, 2025, the RE-INCITE project was proud to be represented at a milestone event in Salzburg – a timely opportunity to connect with key stakeholders shortly after the project’s launch in January 2025. The event provided an inspiring platform for engaging in thought-provoking panel discussions and learning from previous initiatives that have significantly shaped the Alpine region’s path toward sustainability.
A highlight was the exchange with Maren Meyer from EUSALP Action Group 9, who shared valuable insights into circular economy initiatives. On the second day, RE-INCITE took part in the workshop “Next Steps for Circular Economy in the Alps,” led by renowned circular design expert Sonja Eser. This session offered the chance to connect with Majda Potokar from Technology Park Ljubljana, who shared her experience supporting SMEs in the Alpine region as they transition to a circular economy through digitalization.
At the RE-INCITE booth, the project team showcased the project’s objectives and invited attendees to participate in a brief five-question survey on circular economy. The engagement and feedback received were overwhelmingly positive and encouraging.
RE-INCITE looks forward to continued collaboration and to contributing to meaningful, sustainable transformation across the Alpine region.
