Following the inspiring IMC2025 in Innsbruck, the AlpsLife partnership convened for two days, on 18 and 19 September at the University of Innsbruck, to discuss and coordinate next steps for biodiversity monitoring and governance in the European Alpine region.
The meeting opened with a warm welcome from Dr. Ulrike Tappeiner and Georg Leitinger, who highlighted the strategic relevance of AlpsLife in addressing the biodiversity crisis through data-driven action and cross-border cooperation.
