DEGREE4ALPS Consortium Meeting in Graz

Nov 4, 2025

On 4–5 November 2025, the partners of the DEGREE4ALPS project are meeting in Graz, Austria, for a two-day consortium meeting. The event represents an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, review ongoing progress, and define the next steps towards digital, green, and inclusive mobility solutions for Alpine regions.

During the meeting, partners are:

  • Reviewing the advancements of the six pilot areas, which are testing innovative approaches to improve accessibility and connectivity in mountain and rural territories;

  • Working together on integrating digitalisation, sustainability, and social innovation into local and regional mobility strategies;

  • Discussing ways to strengthen transnational cooperation and ensure a long-term impact across the Alpine Space.

The agenda also includes a site visit to explore local examples of sustainable and innovative mobility in practice. This visit offers valuable insights into how digital and green mobility solutions are being implemented on the ground in the Styrian region.

The meeting, hosted by the Austrian project partners, reaffirms the shared commitment of the consortium to make mobility in the Alps smarter, greener, and more inclusive—for people and communities across borders.
