Reflecting on Our Two-Day Meeting in Grenoble
Our partnership gathered in Grenoble on February 3-4 for an intensive two-day meeting focused on evaluating the latest outcomes of our pilot activities and planning the next steps as we move towards the final phase of our project. These discussions played a crucial role in refining our strategies to maximize the project's impact and ensure its long-term sustainability.
Exploring Sustainability and Circular Economy
On the second day of our meeting, we had the opportunity to visit local companies dedicated to sustainability and the circular economy. One particularly insightful visit was to a reuse center organized by the Metropolitan City of Grenoble within the framework of the Interreg Alpine Space project ECOLE. This center exemplifies how second-hand products, still in good condition, can be given a new life with a limited warranty, promoting both environmental and social sustainability. Beyond waste reduction, these initiatives provide employment opportunities and foster social inclusion within the local community. More information about these initiatives can be found here.
Showcasing Our Work at Tech & Fest
Following our meeting, on February 5, we participated in Tech & Fest, a key event for innovation and technology discussions. Our partner, Massimo Di Domenico, PhD, took part in a roundtable discussion, where he presented our project and highlighted its major achievements and contributions. This platform allowed us to showcase our work to a broader audience and engage in meaningful exchanges with other experts in the field.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We extend our gratitude to all partners for their valuable contributions and discussions during the meeting, as well as to Tech & Fest for providing us with the opportunity to present our work. As we approach the final phase of our project, we remain committed to fostering sustainability and integrating circular economy principles in our initiatives.
