From 19-31 August 2024, SATI is organising hiking workshops and film screenings of “Green Mountain Pioneers” in several countries across the Alps. All film screening events and day hiking workshops are free to attend. The aim is to have open and inspiring discussions between various stakeholders interested in sustainability topics in mountain regions.

The event on 24 August in Vallorcine will begin with an icebreaker introduction. The 5-hour hike will start at Vallorcine train station at 10am and take a circular trail to the Refuge de Loriaz, with a total ascent of 740m. The event will include a session led by SATI founder Sarisher Mann who will facilitate a group discussion on climate solutions and multi-stakeholder engagement. The group will return back to Vallorcine at around 5pm.
