From 19-31 August 2024, SATI is organising hiking workshops and film screenings of “Green Mountain Pioneers” in several countries across the Alps. All film screening events and day hiking workshops are free to attend. The aim is to have open and inspiring discussions between various stakeholders interested in sustainability topics in mountain regions.

The event on 19 August in Leogang will begin with an icebreaker introduction. The hike will then be led by local experts from KEM Region Pinzgau who will share insights into the effects of climate change on the landscape and nature. The end of the hike will be followed by a lunch, where SATI founder Sarisher Mann will facilitate a group discussion on climate solutions and multi-stakeholder engagement. At 3pm the group will walk to the film screening location to watch the film "Green Mountain Pioneers" produced by Sarisher Mann. The event will finish with a concluding discussion at 4.30pm.
