CEFoodCycle at the RETASTE Conference

Colleagues from FH Salzburg and the Austrian Institute of Ecology presented their research conducted within the CEFoodCycle Project for Output 1.1 at the RETASTE Conference in Heraklion, Greece. This international scientific conference focuses on sustainable food systems, food waste reduction, and innovative approaches to food resource management. Their presentation highlighted the Alpine-wide methodology of LCA indicators in defined food streams, showcasing key findings and methodological advancements for assessing the environmental impact of food systems in the Alpine region. By sharing their research at RETASTE, they contributed to the ongoing discussions on sustainability, circular economy principles, and strategies for optimizing food supply chains to minimize waste and environmental footprints.
