The School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg (HES-SO//FR HEIA-FR), project partner in the Interreg project Cradle-ALP, will host the EUSALP conference on Circular Economy on March 30-31, 2023. Switzerland holds the presidency of the European Union Macro-Regional Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) in 2023. The conference will conclude with the announcement of the “Declaration of Fribourg”, a political commitment towards more circularity in the Alpine Region.
The EUSALP conference aims to demonstrate regional circular economy approaches in European Alpine regions. Based on scientific observations and concrete examples of projects from the agriculture, food industry and construction sectors, the conference will look at the political framework conditions for a successful circular economy in the future. Projects such as Cradle-ALP will be the accelerants to turn the political momentum into action during the next years.
In order to keep products and materials in the loop, all actors need to rethink the way they do things. Be part of this reflection and attend the conference on “Circular Economy” in Fribourg.
