The Munich University of Applied Sciences (DE) is the second largest university of applied sciences in Germany.

Its 18,300 students and its location in a leading European business centre afford fantastic opportunities, but it also has a responsibility in industrial, economic and social contexts.

The Department of Tourism at Munich University of Applied Sciences is the largest academic department in the field of tourism in Germany. As partner in several Alpine Space projects has a profound knowledge about Alpine regions in tourism and in regional development. Munich University of Applied Sciences is the responsible project partner for WP 3 (PILOT CASES BASED ON KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER) and it is also involved in the WP 1 (IDENTIFICATION & INVENTORY OF ALPINE FOOD INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE) and WP 2 (IDENTIFICATION OF BEST PRACTICES IN THE COLLECTIVE COMMERCIAL VALORISATION OF ALPINE FOOD INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE).
