The WebGIS, an open source web platform firsst implemented in the Interreg Alpine Space program is being developed further in the Interreg Alpine Space project <strong>Smart Altitude </strong>as part of a tool that contributes to reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in Living Labs (ski resorts) and to promote the adoption of low carbon measures in winter tourism regions. The Austrian Smart Altitude project partner ÖAW/IGF, leader of the T1 workpackage that includes the development of the WebGIS, presented the platform to the attendees.
Attendees of the AlpWeek included Alliance in the Alps, CIPRA, The Alpine Town of the Year Association, ISCAR, WWF, &Ouml;AV, Naturfreunde Österreich and the Alpine convention, along with numerous represntatives of Alpine projects.
