e-SMART Third Transnational Living Lab
Forum on smart territory data platforms:
How to support sustainable mobility towards a smart village ecosystem?
Monday, 17th of May 2021 | 14:00 – 16:30 CET | Link to registration | Link to the agenda (pdf)
After 20 months the e-SMART project is at a crucial junction in its life. Actually, the entire partnership is working hardly in order to reach its main results. In particular, the 3rd e-SMART TNLL will be dedicated to data platforms for mobility. The session will look into needs and use cases, ICT architecture, and concrete results. Furthermore, policy and technical requirements for a meta-platform at Alpine Space level will be addressed.
To give value to the workshop, some of the most prominent experts on data platforms have been invited. They will present a case study with some of the most important hints of their work. As the project wants to guarantee support to policy makers in their choices at mobility level (LPT and LML), the partnership is collaborating in order to define a tactical roadmap at transnational level that can give a direction to the macro-policy of the Alpine space, and individual operational roadmaps that will support the policy makers of the single states involved. Undoubtedly such roadmaps will be essential in mobility-related choices, but public administrations need concrete elements on which to base them, specifically they need data. This introduces the second major result of the project besides the roadmaps, namely a digital tool that can collect data on a transnational level ensuring a positive use of such data. The 3rd Transnational Living Lab is the place in which the e-SMART partners want to gather specific stakeholders and Public Administrations, in order to make them understand the importance of data and how the way to work with data is solely through a data platform.
You are cordially invited to share your experience during the workshop and contribute actively with your expertise and questions to shape innovative solutions customized to real needs.
